Expanding Our Machine Range: Introducing the VSR 2
We’re proud to present the VSR 2 gantry machining centre, featuring a swivel rotary table for precise 5-axis or 5-side machining of smaller components.
Why the VSR 2 stands out:
Swivel rotary table on the Y-axis: Unlike conventional X-axis rotation, this design provides a clear, unobstructed view of potential interference contours, improving setup and machining visibility.
Remarkably compact: Occupying just 12 m², the VSR 2 takes up minimal floor space. Its fully enclosed rear allows it to be positioned directly against a wall, optimising your workshop layout.
Efficient tool magazine: A tower magazine accommodates up to three chains of 60 tools each, providing a total capacity of 180 tools, each up to 400 mm in length—perfect for high-mix machining.
Integrated robot interface: The gantry design includes a side lift gate for automated loading. This ensures full access to the working area and unhindered operation.
State-of-the-art control: Equipped with the latest Heidenhain TNC 7 system, the VSR 2 offers intuitive, precise, and reliable control.
